There’s still 2 days to register for the Lake Harriet Recycle Run on April 17.

Proceeds from the Minneapolis  Recycle Run help support the annual Minneapolis Earth Day Clean Up  which draws attention to our lakes and river and the effects individual  actions have on urban water quality.  The Earth Day Watershed Clean Up  is the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s largest annual volunteer  event and one of the largest community service events in Minneapolis.  During the 2010 event, more than 3,000 individuals removed over 15,000  pounds of trash from our neighborhoods and parks.
